Who else is sick of protein shakes?

I woke up this morning excited about my day and went straight into the kitchen to fix myself some breakfast. As I looked into the cupboard (do people say “cupboard” anymore?), I was disappointed to see the same boring protein shakes staring back at me.

If you’ve been following a muscle building program, chances are you drink a lot of protein shakes. After all, your muscles won’t grow if you don’t get enough protein. You can do all the weightlifting in the world, but you still have to supply your body with the material it needs to grow. But isn’t it a little boring to drink those same shakes every day? I’ve often thought there had to be a better way.

One of the terms you’ll come across the most while reading bodybuilding forums is training to failure. You may have heard this around the gym, but often people will throw around these terms without really knowing what they mean.

One term you’re probably familiar with if you’ve spent any time among bodybuilders is training to failure. Though you may hear it often, many use terms like these without really knowing their meaning. It’s important to define these terms and not just follow the masses because it can have a big influence on your results in the gym.
